The associations within Forest Ridge held their annual meetings in October. The Forest Ridge Property Owners Association meeting was held on Saturday Oct.15. Dave Larsen presented an update of the past years’ continued progress. (slides available here). The highlights included: completion of the compactor/recycling area cleaner, neater, better traffic flow and reduced costs. Also the new landscaping around the pool and guardhouse as well as roadside repairs continued to highlight the quality and care philosophy of Forest Ridge. Elaine Whitlock presented the financials which showed us in good shape as the 2011 spending is in line with the budget. Several programs previously instituted are paying dividends with lower operating costs including the compactor, sports club lighting, and the salt/chlorine generators. The 2012 budget does contain a $10 increase half towards the capital budget and half to offset increased costs in our operating budget, primarily increased propane costs.  Thanks to all who attended.
